By submitting a manuscript to Canadian Social Science, the author(s) acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:
Retention of Copyright: The author(s) retain the copyright of their work, granting Canadian Social Science a non-exclusive license to publish the article under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). This license allows the work to be shared, adapted, and built upon, with proper attribution given to the original author(s).
Assignment of Rights: In addition to the non-exclusive license granted to Canadian Social Science, the author(s) also assign to the journal the rights to edit, publish, reproduce, distribute copies, prepare derivative works, include in indexes or search databases in print, electronic, or other media, whether or not in use at the time of execution of this agreement, and claim copyright in said work throughout the world for the full duration of the copyright and any renewals or extensions thereof.
Publication and Distribution: Upon acceptance, the article will be published and made freely available to the public on the Canadian Social Science website and other affiliated platforms. Canadian Social Science is granted the first publication right, meaning that the article will be published by Canadian Social Science before it may be published elsewhere.
